Orca Wetsuits - For The Swimming Enthusiast

Here’s a good one to consider, it is light and made out of flexible neoprene which will help to give you added buoyancy and also better protection from the cold temperatures of the water you’re traversing.  This suit has the classic “Orca” logo splashed across the chest as well as vertically down the back on the left side of the suit.  There is also an orange logo on the right shoulder of the suit and the underarms are made of a different material to allow for you to more readily move your arms while swimming.

This one is at a pretty reasonable price at $198.99 so it’s a good buy for someone who’s looking to just start up being a triathlete.

2.  Orca Equip Fullsleeve Men's Triathlon Wetsuit

Here’s another one to consider over at Amazon, although this one is made for men.  This is priced at $284.99 and comes in sizes 6, 9, 10, 11, MT.  It features HydroCell SCS Neoprene as well as 1mm Yamamoto Neoprene sleeves.  This is designed to both increase your comfort as well as flexibility and the HydroCell SCS neoprene is quite durable and provides excellent buoyancy. 

Some of the new features you’ll see on this one are 1mm flatlock stitched sleeves as well as HydroStroke forearm panels.  This one sells for $284.99.

3.  Orca Alpha Fullsleeve Men's Triathlon Wetsuit

If you really want to take things to the next level and get something top of the line, try looking into this one which costs about $664.99.  This suit has Nano SCS coating that gives you increased speed and buoyancy.  You also get great flexibility, fit and comfort through the 1.5mm Yamamoto #40 Cell neoprene which is shaped to fit well through the shoulders, back and chest for maximum stretch.

Beneath that you’ve also got the 4-Way FreeStretch lining that gives you even more stretch as well as comfort, you have panels of Yamamoto AeroDome neoprene that are put on the front and back of the torso which will give you about 30% more buoyancy within the water.  This has some nicely colored blue and purple sleeves that contrast well with the black suit.  Of course there is a woman’s equivalent to this available as well.
